Our Area

South East Soil & Water are an independent soil and water consultancy located at Bendigo in central Victoria. We work on a weekly basis throughout the Murray Darling Basin region of Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. We also work in other states and overseas on an as required basis.

Our Objectives

  1. Deliver on the highest level of identification and scientific understanding to the environmental, agricultural, municipal, industrial and domestic fields for soil and water management

  2. Operate at a level above and beyond regulatory guidelines, codes of practice, industry benchmarks and available research

  3. Ensure that identification of soil and water properties, sampling procedures and data interpretation are of precise accuracy

  4. Supply clients with all available options associated with their project or situation, enabling them to make informed business decisions

  5. Deliver on all projects at the most cost-effective price, working within clients budgets where set.

Our Staff and Associates

SESW is owned and operated by Christian Bannan, a passionate and enthusiastic soil scientist with over 10 years’ experience in the fields of soil and water. Christian is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, studying at Dookie College in northern Victoria. In Christian’s honours year he investigated the variability in soil physical and chemical properties across soil types on a typical Riverine soil catena in the Goulburn Valley, with specific emphasis on the influence of soil type on agricultural production.

SESW draws upon associates when required who are experienced in their fields across Australia and overseas.
