Identification and understanding of soil physical and chemical properties and their interactions with rainfall, irrigation water (surface or groundwater) or wastewater are our key strengths.

Our Agricultural Services include:

  • Comprehensive soil chemical and physical analysis including all forms of macro-nutrient and trace element testing, provision of soil chemical and physical amelioration options along with soil and crop nutrition requirements.

  • Property scale soil amelioration plans according to the existing soil constraints. Plans include the following aspects with machinery or specialist equipment recommendations for:

    • Soil Physical Amelioration: Ripping, aeration, clay spreading, mixing, discing, cultivation and stabilisation using organic ameliorants.
    • Soil Chemical Amelioration: Treatment for dispersive soils and acidic soils

  • Plant sampling, analysis and recommendations for foliar fertilizer application and following season nutrient planning.

  • Soil investigation for soil conservation works, dam siting, dam engineering, catchment hydrological investigation and spillway design for farm dams.

 

  • Saline site management for irrigated and dryland agriculture and techniques for leaching salt.

  • Agricultural chemical residue testing.

  • Irrigation and drainage management planning on irrigated properties.
